The Banning Library is a Special District governed by a Board of Library Trustees which consist of five elected members who must be qualified voters and residents of the District. Trustees serve without pay for four-year staggered terms and may be re-elected. The Board has three officers: President, Vice President, and Secretary.  Meet our current Board of Trustees.

Mission Statement
Provide library services and materials that are responsive to the informational, recreational, educational, inspirational, technological and cultural needs. 

Currently, the Banning Library District provides library services to a population of approximately 31,221 people according to the 2019 estimate from the US Census.
